I was wondering if you got a chance to use the Waldrop Pacseat while on your Missouri hunt?
If so what are your thoughts?
Thanks in advance!
God bless,Mudd
I was able to use the one Terry had at Kenny's. It's very comfortable easy to carry, and easy to shoot out of.
Randy,
How much does the seat weigh? Is it easy to pack, sturdy and does it set up quickly?
Thanks,
Chuck
Is it quiet when you move will siting?
This is kind of an interesting seat.. Can anyone tell me if it could feasibly be used as a pack frame in the even it was needed to help pack out game?
Would the shoulder straps and waist belt be strong and comfortable enough for that type of use, and do you think the frame would be comfortable and strong enough if weight was strapped to it?
Thanks' for any input.

Great questions!!!
I'm sure that when T has had time to catch up,ie.. shower and shave he'll give us the low down.
God bless,Mudd
PS: Thanks in advance T!!!
Yes!!!! My 1st thought was...."where haveyou been all my life"
Yes to all cept pack frame. I'd contact the Asbells about that.
More later....
The weight not enough to bother anyone. I am not sure the numbers though. As for noise it is silent. You can move freely, lean forward and the seat moves with you without making a sound. Set-up is instant, just old fold out the seat and the back leg if you need it or just lean it on a tree.
As for use as for use as a pack frame- a day pack would attach no problem. Not sure a heavy load would do well. Maybe the makers can address that a little better.
Didn't their ad say they were researching how to add a pack? That would sure be handy out West or on those long day hike hunts.
Not the T you were looking for but here's my 2 cents after using the past couple weeks. This seat is very comfortable...don't sit this seat if you are real tired...you will fall asleep, trust me. Easy to set up and very quiet. As to using as a pack frame...you would need to add better shoulder straps if carrying alot of weight. I carry my bison gear pack over the seat folded and have had no problems.

Thanks Randy.....what he said... :goldtooth:
The waist belt is NOT needed in my opinion, unless you are going to attach a fanny back with some weight....a light load would still not warrant the waist belt. It don't weigh squat on your back.
VERY well made I might add...some have commented on the price....but this aint no wally world lawn chair!!!
I agree with Terry, it is the best chair I,ve ever set in. Money well spent! Jason
I didn't see the height when set up when I reviewed it on line...
Did I miss that. I am getting "old eyes!" :)
I find low seats make me knees hurt like blazes!
