Title: Tabs...
Post by: David Yukon on October 23, 2010, 08:51:00 PM
Good evening all, I just came back from shooting a few arrows, and was using my new cordovan tab.
i think i'm converted, realy liked the realese, and it seems that the arrows flys better!?!? Anyway, I realy like it!

An other thing, is I had with my cedar arrows a Easton Legacy 2219 arrow that is fletch 4 5" shields and I put a 200 grain field point on it and wow it flys beautifuly out of my Silver Fox 60#@29. I originaly bought these shafts for my 70#@29 long bow and never was realy happy with them... I will have to try them more, since I have a bunch of them!!

Just wanted to share my experience!
Cheers

Great leather for sure.  I am still shooting with my Screaming Eagle cordovan tab that I bought in 1996!

Now...don't misplace it.

I've been using Bateman cordovan split finger tabs for decades. I get a cleaner release with a tab than I do with a glove. I haven't used a glove during the last 45 years of bowhunting.

I have a short/long story for you. I love my Wilson Bros. tab and see no need to try anymore! Last night I wanted to fling a few arrows in the backyard so I grabbed and old calf hair tab off the bench and went on my way. My arrows were flying all over the yard and I was confused. So for the heck of it I ran in the house and grabbed my Wilson Bros. and *presto* my arrows and flight were right back on course. That was a good discovery considering my spare tab in my fanny pack is a plain calf hair tab. Why it did that? Dont know?
