what would you recommend for a bow quiver to go on an RER takedown recurve? Thanks for your help
I have an older RER that has a Selway limb bolt model it works well.
I also have a RER XR smaller riser so I am using a EFA quiver tight to the riser on the limbs Works perfect.
It kind of depends on the length of the riser. With a longer riser, the limb bolt quivers work well. On a short riser, there is just too much unsupported arrow sticking out below the bottom of the quiver. This can cause noise due to the arrows flexing the fletching making contact.
If you want an extremely lightweight quiver, the EFA is hard to beat. It's what I use on my Kanati.
On my Orion, I love my Thunderhorn Linx. It is similar to the Boa, but there is an adjustable bar between the hood and the bottom of the quiver. This keeps the two from sliding apart. It does add some weight, but not enough to overbalance my bow. I can slip it off and on easily without the arrows coming out. EFA also makes one with a bar now as well. It would also be worth a look.
i use a selway quick detach on my assenheimer it seems to work just fine for me
GN adjustable is all I use on any bow.
Check out John at Anneewake Archery he is on the sponsor list. He makes nice quivers.
I have a Great Northern limb bolt model on my Widow-love it!

If your into some realy, realy nice leather work I would check out Annewaakee Archery,or Eagles Flight.Either one will do a wonderful job for you.If you want to stick with a wood grain look,I can build you a quiver from the same type of wood as what is in your bow.We use the attachment system from Annewaakee Archery.
Good luck you have a tough choice! :D
