After much thought and consideration, I feel after 15 yrs of running Renegade Archery...it's time to shut her down.
I will officially close the end of this year. It's been a pleasure dealing with all types of customers both locally and through TG. However, at this stage of my life, I don't want to hang around the shop all day waiting on customers and losing valuable hunting time....I WANT TO HUNT!!
Customers always came first but now....I want to enjoy this month off with my hunting buddies Bamboo and Southpawshooter. All orders have been filled and shipped....I will run a clearance sale on all AMG Feathers that are left in stock come January. I will also honor the Jack Kempf bow orders that have already been placed.
Anyone needing any information or help in deciding
what Kempf to order down the road, can always PM me or email me. I will always assist you fellas any way I can. I just made up my last doz arrows for one of Guru's friends...those shaft I have on sale in the Sponsor Classifieds will stay the same price.
Thank you all for your support of Renegade Archery. Good luck and God Bless.........as always Keep The Faith......................Joe
Joe,
Sorry to hear, but your right. There comes a time when you gotta hang up the hat and take care of numero uno. I bet it was nice to run a trad archery shop though. I never did get the chance to make it down to your place, and your only a few miles away from West Point. I would still love for the opportunity before you completely close the doors. Plus, Id like to get to know all the like minded archers in the area. I also would like to try out a Kempf bow. Now, get in them woods and get yourself some quality self time.
Good luck,
Casey
A lot of guys who would like to own their own archery business don't realize how much personal hunting time they loose when they finally do it. I did it for a number of years, as well, and it is, well, a hard thing to see what you love to do turn into a job with obligations and little if any time for yourself to enjoy what you are working hard for others to enjoy. Joe, enjoy the hunt...you never know when your body or circumstances will short cut your ability to enjoy it. Good for you!
Do what you like most, our seasons are counted.
Joe, enjoy your extra time in the woods  and keep an eye on them other two feller's
Joe my friend, you deserve it!! Go and enjoy yourself and best of luck! Shawn
Too bad I didn't realize where your shop was. My wife's family is from near Newburgh. It would have been nice to have had a place to runaway to now and again when the in-laws get to be too much.
Good luck...and yes, being in the biz you love usually means less time to enjoy it.
There comes a time when a man's gotta do...yadayadaya! :D
Now go get your hunt on!!! :notworthy:
Enjoy the hunting buddy!
Sorry to hear this Joe, but you deserve the time for yourself. There comes a time when we all must make the decision to take care of number one first.
But..... now I've got to find some place else to get feathers. Again.
Enjoy your month of hunting!
Breathe deep...and enjoy!!!
It`s just turning the page.
I wish you loads of luck-and hunting, Joe. But, beware!!!! Once you retire, you find out what busy is. All the projects I put off for lack of time when i worked, have come back to haunt me. The list of honey-do's grows exponentially, you do one thing and 10 more get added to the list. Since retiring, I've never been so busy. Spring and summer I work hard so that my fall and winter can be MY hunting time.
Good for you Joe ! Best of luck and enjoy yourself . I'm nearing that situation myself (I hope ) Work wouldn't be so bad if it didn't take up so much time .
Good Luck to you Joe! Enjoy your time in the Woods...
You have to do what you think is best.....best of luck and keep'm sharp!!!
Joe, Good! Now maybe next time I'm in the Area you wont be working, so then we can go shooting ;)
Good For You Joe (good luck tomorrow :bigsmyl: )
Enjoy yourself to the fullest were not here long. With a bad injury and my increasing age I've takin a whole differant perspective on life.Shoot your bow, breath some good air and enjoy your loved ones. All the best my friend.
Best of luck this season Joe.Enjoy yourself
No need to apologize for wanting more woods time. Everyone here understands that. Good luck!
I think you will really enjoy the extra time in the woods, good for you!
I'm really happy for you Joe.
Didn't you also carry some really good camo? I'm having one of those moments and can't think of the name.
God bless,Mudd
Class Joe. Best of luck.
Congrats! Have the time of your life.
Could this be an analogy of one who works all the time, making all the money in the world and having no time to spend it.
Or may be it is the all time comsuming involvement on the perifery of some of something you dearly love and am seldom ever get to touch.
You have awakened!!
Best of luck my friend.
Well Joe you sure could have not picked 2 nicer guys to hunt with. Shoot straight my friend. Good luck to you and Mike and Scott.
I hear you Joe, get out and hunt we aint getting any younger.
Does this mean we can go fox hunting? Or is this just more time for Southpaw and Bamboo? Sounds like a case of shop fever. You can never replace the time you spent in the woods/fields..Good for you Joe.
hey buddy, good luck on your hunting.i almost bought a bait shop once, until i noticed the guy selling it was always there.he never got to go fishing.he just got to hear all of the fishing stories.i am sorry to hear that a trad shop is closing.i don't have one near me.trad shops are few and far between in this part of ohio.when you get ready to sell those feathers let me know.thanks, steve
