He is about 10 feet in front of my ground blind.
I Recently got a trail cam and he is the first buck I have seen. I have does around every evening and morning.

Nice buck! He'll be there again so don't fret it. Maybe it was the good lord's way of telling you the wind wasn't right for the day.
Hey David, on those mornings you can't make it I would be happy to fill in for ya. Really ..... I will !
I agree with Cookus, you don't know what would've happened had you been there? He may have smelled you, seen you, or the worst...a bad miss.....and he may have blown out of there for good.
At least you will go in there next time with high anticipation and well prepared to make the shot should it present itself. Then be able to stay in the blind longer than you normally would waiting for him to show.
Good Luck!
nice buck hope you get'em!!
This is my first year with trail cams. I only have two but I love to put them near my stands so I can see what "might have been". The way most people seem to use them (and I'm not criticizing or judging here) they should be called "bait cams".
I had 42 pictures on a camera near a new spot. Half of them were of some really fine looking domestic cows.
I wouldn't call them bait cams as they do nothing to draw the deer to you.
But they sure do confirm that you did or didn't pick the best spot.
Hi D Shepperd
I'm in Hydes your not far from me.
Do you shoot at Baltimore Bowman?
Good luck,stay with it!!!
When the bruises from beating yourself up heal,go get him !
Nice - you could have finished your day early - looks close, how far away do you figure?
No I haven't shot at BB. You are close, I live right on Harford Road just up the hill from the Little Gunpowder.
Maybe we can get together and do some shooting.
Shep
rraming It is close about 8 to ten yards from where I shoot. Just the way I like it!!
Hi Shep,
I don't belong to BB but Shoot on Mondays in the summer. Shoot in the yard mostly. Where do you shoot?
Live on a farm, plenty of room for shooting.
I had the same feeling when I had pics like this.

But that evening this happened at that spot at 5 PM.

One just never knows when they will show up. The more time you spend in the woods you increase your chances....regardless of the time.
Good Job Bill
Your right can't shoot them from inside the house.
Went out the next morning, saw a few does to far for a shot.
