I am driving to Maine from Tn just me and my dog to hunt Blackbear looks like it will be alone drive but can't get no one to go so off I go

When I lived in Ohio I drove by myself to Arostook county Maine to hunt bear. I was the only trad shooter in camp and one of only two bowhunters. Many of the guys were shooting rifles and large caliber handguns and said I was just going to poke them and make them mad with my stick and string. I shot my bear the first night. 210 lbs.. Double lung pass through and 30 yard recovery. Turned out to be the biggest bear shot that week. Guess I showed them. Best of luck to you.
