Thanks for sharing.
God bless,Mudd
Nice video. Looks like a good place to fish too. :D
Great video! I would have liked to have made it. I definitely want to get in on one in the future. Would love to meet some of my fellow tradgangers.
I think I was the only one with a camera. I just took shots at whatever caught my eye. Got home and looked at what I had and went from there.
It sure was a good time. Lots of smiles and laughter. Hope I can share a camp with others next time.
Great Video. Thank you for sharing what looks like a good time had by all.

That was a great video, looks like all had a good time, thanks for sharing.
Arkansas, one of the best kept secrets! Thanks for sharing a great video.
fun fun fun, to bad you coudn't trip up that deer
That hunt was the most fun I ever had with my pants on...deer where easy to find had a long dry summer, deer were close to lake..just had too find their access points. :)
What about the "Bigfoot" trap? When I found that well I was scouting by myself. All I could think about was if I had walked into that thing I would have never gotten back out.
Had a squirrel dodge my arrow at about 10 yards. The shot was perfect but that rascal moved quick enough to get out of the way. I was amazed.
I wish I could say I had a doe dodge my arrow but the truth is I didn't pick a spot and the arrow sailed over her back. :knothead:
Love it
Deer were everywhere. It didn't matter where I stopped the boat to scout on shore. I jumped deer almost every time.
I was able to go for the whole week and kept a diary of sorts. I saw 34 deer total and only sat in the stand one time without seeing a deer.
During the middle of the day I would scout and look for squirrels. I missed sevearl but one of these days I'll get one.
I scared an armidillo and he ran straight at me. He ended up trying for the hole in the ground in front of my toes. Problem was the hole was to small and over half of his body was sticking out in plain view. Eventually he backed out and when he did I tapped him on the head with the feather on my arrow. Zoom! Right back into the hole but with only his head hidden. Maybe he was part osterich?
Great video, Pac. Thanks for doing that. Yeah, I need to get my camera out more next time.
You didn't tell me about seeing the deer swimming. That's way cool.
We did have a great time, lots of great food, and lots of great new friends.
Cool!!!!!....thanks for sharing.... :campfire:

I was keeping the deer and the plans for the show as sort of a suprise.

I had a great time and met some great people and ate some dang good food! I had enough dr.pepper and summer saugage to last a lifetime. Looking forword to the next ARROW. Thanks for putting the video together Pac.
I didn't know anyone could eat so much summer sausage as Caleb. Seriously, the two young men that joined us on this adventure, Caleb and Tyler, were a joy to be around. Both seemed to be mature beyond their years. I wish that at their age I "got it" like these guys do. And of course the "older" ones weren't bad either, not that I'm one of them. :saywhat: I hope more can join us on the next adventure.

Good stuff Pac :clapper:
I've consulted the reg books for when the draw gun hunts are. Want to make sure if we have another in Nov it will be in a bow only wma.
I was thinking maybe set the hunt up around Veteren's Day. I know several of the local AF guys couldn't go to the last one because of the air show at the base. I remember working those shows when hunting season had just opened.
I know there are other vets in the area but only Buckster comes to mind at the moment. Anyway everyone is welcome to attend vet or non vet.
I'll be on the Arkansas page setting something up so we don't have to keep hunting for this thread.
