Title: Remember him?

Remember this guy?  Well, Friday evening I was setting in my ground blind near an oak patch when at 6:15 here he comes right at me!  He came in to the patch and when he went behind a tree I got my bow up & ready.  He didn't stop and eat but just kept coming at me!  When he was 5 steps away he started going by on my left without a twig between he and I.  I was wearing my "leafy suit" and he glanced at me once but just kept walking.  I couldn't even blink at that distance and he finally went behind the tree I had been setting by.  I turned to shoot as he came out the other side when my top limb touched a small branch I hand't cleared.  He never came out the other side but I heard him walking.  I peaked around the tree and he was 25 yds. away walking striaght from me.  SOOOOO CLOSE!

OOH! That was a close one. I hope you get to seal the deal on him. He looks like a bruiser for sure.

Great encounter. You didn't spook him and he may follow this same pattern for a couple more weeks. You did well just to get that close without being noticed.
