I finally made it out to the Iowa timber last Sunday evening to do some field testing with my new 3 piece T/D longbow. About 1 hr into the extensive field testing session this doe stopped quartering away at 25 yards. Seconds later and about 50 yards away she crashed in a ditch. It was a great way to start the season. The little longbow was pulling 57#'s and shooting cedar arrows with Woodsmans leading the way.

NICE!!! I guess that's the first animal to ever fall to a TT longbow...congrats! I have a funny feeling I'll be owning one of those soon. Good job Brian.

And I see from the website a new one piece recurve is on the way...

well done, nice looking bow.
Nice job Brian and great looking bow.
Mmmm mmmm mmmm corn fed backstraps!
That picture shows off the limbs real good. I don't know how you get such high performance out of such a traditional shaped limb, but I am glad you do  .
Good work Brian, which kind of saw dust cover scent did you use. Cocobola, Bocote or Yew?
Way to go bud, I was hoping you made it out to get some relaxing time. I think you need more field testing time don't you? Ha ha...
Congrats Brian!!
Nice going Brian, congrats!!
Congrats Brian!
Great job!!
What is your depicted TT LB braced at?
Looks fairly high in realationship to the bow length and I don't believe that is short bow.
Sounds like a winner to me!
Great Job, Brian!
I had the opportunity to shoot one of those longbows at ETAR, and it was sweet!
That's good eatin' right there.
Ummm....need a field testing assistant?
Great job on the bow and the field testing Brian!!!
tough job but somebody's got to do it
well done!!
oops, should be :bigsmyl:
Yeah, if you need some help testing, just let me know.
It could have happend to a nicer guy or family. Good job Brian! Mike
Very nice!
Very nice bow...and a great looking doe...the guys a lil' goofy looking though...
Great photo Brian, I was just telling stickflinger how I heard how fast and smooth the new long bow is. I may be eating beans and franks for awhile, but I told him mine is going to have snake skins on it. Can't let Steve one up me.
And I suppose you're gonna try to tell us you shot her perfect on purpose too. You're a killin machine that makes a killin machine! BW
Uncle B,
I saw him shoot an elk I called into his lap with a perfect shot....he looked back at me and raised his eyebrows (uncle B) style and said..."I meant to do that..." appearantly he's some sort of great shot...or at least thats what he tells me...But hey man, a 700lb bull at 5 yards...
he does make a great bow though...I still think he's a lil' goofy looking.
Brian, congrats
Congradulations, I think I'll try a little "field testing tonight".
well done and congrats
Congratulations!
Best field test ever,congrats
Long time no see, Brian. Good job and congrats.
Now if those TT longbows come in Lefthand>>>>mmmmmmm
Mark,
I am told his LH handles are better than the righties...I find that hard to believe, but it comes from some very reliable sources! Chimaster above has a LH longbow being built right now.
Looks like a fine shootin bow!!!!!!! Great job on the Doe!!!!!!
Hey John--when will the Kanati quivers with the TallTines logo be ready?
