About a month ago I was at the camp for dove season, and I took my recurve and we all did some shooting. By buddy's son, who is 17 tried out their old PSE longbow. Using old arrows he was shooting out of a compound, he did alright, and we did a lot of shooting.
Yesterday, he went out to a stand by himself and killed a doe with the longbow and not only was it his first deer with traditional equipment, it was his first deer with a bow of any kind.
Glad to hear that. Keep converting them.
No turning back for him now! Congrats
thats awesome.
Good for him: I shot several deer with a compound 20 some years ago before swiching to traditional equipment, and for me anyway there is no comparison, traditional RULES!
Awesome! Only a month shooting Trad and he gets his first, he must be a natural. Way to go!
I cant wait to "kill" at least a target with my new to me bow!! :D congrats to him! and well you too for introducing him!
