Finally!!
After a few misses last season and a lot of off season practicing, I've scored!!
This season as been very eventfull. I'm seeing plenty of deer. Two weeks ago, I made took a shot at a deer. I thought it was a good hit but after a 150yrd blood traking and coming up empty. I was upset to say the least. Found it two days later thanks to the buzzards. It ran another 150yrds from my last blood, it went down in a cotton field. This was technically my 1st trad kill but not the way I was hoping for.
Fast forward to this afternoon. Couple does came in around 6:15. I waited on the larger of the two to give me a shot. First shot (15yrds) was a spine shot. She went down. Did a follow up shot to finish. A zero yrd tracking. This time I get the proper celebration and most importantlly, I will be eatin backstraps next weekend and have some burgers. Yummmmmmmm! :jumper:
Thank you TradGang!
