I met up with Dan Sweeney aka sweeney3 yesterday and we went stump shooting. Dan is from Lowell, AR and he is in at Fort Sill for artillery training. He said he hasn't been able to shoot much since being over here so I invited him out for same shooting. We met in Elgin and drove to my uncle's 10 acres and shot for about 3 hours. Dan is a great guy. I have been thinking about buying some hammers or hex heads for rabbits and squirrels and just haven't done it yet. Next thing I know Dan pulls out his tackle box and gives me two of each. He tried to give me some of the good brown Bear Razorheads but he works hard to track those things down so I didn't take those. He was shooting a really nice sinew backed, white oak self bow and the only problem was that he is wrong handed but I shot it a couple times anyway. I had a great afternoon and met a GOOD Brother. Thanks for coming over Dan. p.s. Will post pics when I get them loaded. Thanks, Travis aka Gabby.
Those cannon cockers can be good people, particularly if you are in a bad place where some artillery would get the bad guys' heads down. I have had the good fortune to meet a few tradgangers, and they are great folks, all. Sounds like a fun time with a new friend.
I appreciate you taking your time to help out a brother Gabby.
I well know that your season just opened like 2 days ago and you could just as easily blown the whole thing off and gone hunting but you being who you are did an awesome thing.
Thank you from the bottom of my heart. It's folks like you that make Tradgang what it is.
God bless,Mudd
I had a darn good time! Thanks for the shootin. I don't think you treat those horses well enough, though. Better spoil em some more. :D
Hey Dan those horses of my uncle's couldn't possibly be more spoiled. Hello Mudd, just doin' for another what you did for me. You know it is just as much if not more fun for the giver.

I thought I resized those right but if they too big I will try again.
Claypipe, Looks like a good time. Nice of you to help a fella out.
Stumpin is way too cool not to do...a lot. With a new trad brother it's better. Good stuff.
