Just received 3 dozen Douglas fir shafts which were finished with Tru Oil. Would like to nock and fletch them tonight. Will super glue or Fletch tite Platinum work for nocks over Tru Oil?
Never worked with Tru Oil finished shafts.
Duco glue will work very well. I wasn't happy in using Fletch Tite on Tru oil. No experience with super glue.
Froggy
Froggy is right on! Ducco

Well, I really wanted to get these nocked and some fletched tonight. Fortunately or maybe more unfortunately I have a Super Wal-Mart less than 1 mile from my house. Guess I'll head on over there in about 20 minutes and see if they happen to have any Duco. If not perhaps Home Depot or Lowes tomorrow.
Thanks guys, wish fletch tite or super glue would work. I hate going to WM.
if you have an o'reileys auto parts they will have it.good luck on your search, steve
Fletch tape and/or Duco.
Went on a Duco hunt this morning. Found 1 place that had it available. They had 10 tubes on the shelf, I bought 2. If anyone is having problems finding it let me know I'll buy a few more and send them out. Price is $2.79 per tube. By the way found it at Ace Hardware.
Family Dollar sells it for $1/tube.
