I received a string from a person that wanted me to copy it but didn't know the material. He wants me to use D-97 or D-10 so I don't have to match the material only the loop size and overall length. But it got me wondering what it is.
It was FF material and it was small diameter material similar to BCY 8125. It seemed to stretch more than any of the FF material I use (D-97, D-10, 8125, 450+ and Ultra Cam) so I'm trying to figure out what it was. It was 16 stands string yet it was still small diameter.
Any thoughts? It did bleed while in transit and the colors were absorbed by the note inside.
Thanks,
Josh
What idiot would send a string like that in the mail without wrapping it up so it wouldn't bleed on the check I sent you? :banghead: :dunno:
452x ?

I don't think so...it felt and acted a touch like what I would imagine small diameter dacron would feel like. (if that made sense)

It may be TS-1 or TS plus I have a string I received with a bow in a trade and this string is so small my arrow nock will not stay on the string. This is the material the string was made with. I built the serving a little and it is a very fast string. I ordered another string that I used on my Tomahawk that string was a good combo of thickness and speed. Hope this helps. I may contact you also for a string soon.
If I had to guess, TS+ but probably fast flite plus.
