Stan sent me some heads a while back and I told him I would post a pic should I get lucky. Well it happened!! :D
Two things are great about this hunt. One, I've been limiting squirrel shots to head only and connected. Two, this small game head performed amazingly!! :clapper:
Sorry if the pics are graphic, I wanted to share what to expect with these heads. ;)

Cool!!
I was really impressed when my RFA Talon struck fur this morning.
Good shooting!!!
You're one up on me bud!...lol
Thanks for sharing with us.
God bless,Mudd
I just noticed we both did the same thing this morning AHAHAHAHAHAH!!
That is so awesome, wonder what the odds were?
Hey Arwin, great shooting! Glad the head is working out for you. I've been having a little bit of luck with them this Fall on squirrels and grouse with a new longbow I built. Rabbits have been considerably tougher for me. Shooting 500 grain arrows from a 42# longbow has them laughing at me right before the jump before the arrow arrives. I need to get closer I guess. Small game hunting is a LOT of fun though. Glad they are working out for you.
Talons do work!!

Good job guys. That does look like a nasty head.
Dang Mudd, nice shooting too! You guys are really getting it done with those head shots. And, not a bit of wasted meat. Congrats!
There is a great book called "The Old Bowhunter". It is about what it was like to hunt with yew wood selfbows during the 20's and 30's here in Oregon. Anyway, they talk about hunting squirrels. They wouldn't count one as a kill if it wasn't a head shot! So Mudd, you are part of an elite group!
good shooting guys.i need to get me some of those heads to try.thanks for the pics, steve
