How do you guys sharpen these or touch them up? The big ferrule seems to be in the way for me?
sorry I was posting to another thread and it ended up here accidently. I deleted the other part since it didn't deal with stingers!
KME

guess I could add a litte more, remove the bleeder then go with the KME knife sharpner.
They will be sharper than when you bought them.

Doug77,
What degree angle are you sharpening them on?
I just file it down a little to get the angle I want.
I mark mine with a black marker then set the KME knife sharpner just to get the very edge.

The cheapest route, the one I use and it get's them very sharp. Unscrew the blade and sharpen it with an accusharp knife/whatever sharpener. It cost me 7$ and I now have a few patches of hair missing on my left arm.
my KME sharpener shows the factory bevel at 23 degree angle.

yeeeppp, works like a charm and will shave the hair right off your arm. :bigsmyl:
If mike would make a 200 or better yet a 300 grainer I'd marry it!!
Roger I agree. Doesn't a 200 grain 1-1/4" wide four blade sound ideal? Hint, Hint to Mike
