I just screwed up on a post I made on stringing your bow, I wanted to edit my post and say I'm glad your ok, but I quoted myself by mistake. Anyways I went to clean up my mess and am I reading it correct that only a forum leader can delete a post ? Just want to make sure I cannot delete my mess of a duplicate posting. Thanks,
Dan
See the paper and pencil at the top of your (and my) posts?
Click that and a window will pop up, wherein you can edit your own post. Can't edit other people's!

Thanks killdeer ! I knew how to edit, how do you delete a post ? It is my post, I duplicated it somehow and just wanted to get rid of the duplicate. I'm referencing my mess on this post. I use a iPad touch and I think I fat fingered the quote icon instead of the edit icon. http://tradgang.com/noncgi/ultimatebb.php?ubb=get_topic;f=1;t=093941;p=2
Thanks again,
Dan
Ah, I see what you mean.
You can either delete everything in that second post, or just say "Oops! Hiccups!" or some such. Some folks just delete all and put "Sorry, duplicate post".
Or, you could think up something else pertinent to the subject that should be said there.
But you cannot ever make it go away. Takes a minor god to do that.
Killdeer ;)
Thanks Killdeer,
Dan
