ok since no one replied to my first post let me make it simpler and more to the point. I dont know what arrow weight or spline I should be using for my 60 lb long bow>I am currently shooting a carbon acc /349 I forgot the second number and not accesable to my arrows right now. thanks.
Jim, You're not giving us enough information to try to answer. Using the 10 grains per pound rule your arrows should weigh in around 600 grains. As to SPINE (not spline) we need your draw length to BOP, Where your bow's shelf is cut -- that is center cut, or how much short of center, fast flight or dacron string, point weight, etc. The ACCs are sized by their spine rating such as 300,340,390,440 -- 349 doesn't compute. Once we know that stuff and how your present arrows are flying some of the arrow "gurus" here can help better.
Wow thanks for at least responding im sorry for the wrong spelling I seem to get typing to fast and dont take time to check my spelling. I will have to get the information for you guys but I dont even know what you mean by center cut. I always thought it was spline thanks for corecting me.Its a fast flight string I do know that much.
While your gathering more information, you also need to know the draw wt of your bow at the draw length you're shooting. In general, there will be a 2-3#/inch decrease or increase when drawing shorter or longer than the usual 28", at which most, but not all bows are specified.
As a starting point for arrow selection, all of the manufacturers have 'spine' charts available on line and in their catalogs for helping in the initial selection process. Unfortunately, the carbon arrow charts don't seem to be nearly as accurate as the aluminum and woodie charts were/are; but they're a place to start.
Like many of us, you may find that the search for the illusive "perfect" carbon arrow may get a little expensive, so if the arrows you're using right now are flying well and grouping for you, stick with them. If not, once you've gathered the info needed to make an educated selection, come back with the info and I'm sure you'll get more different ideas than you'll be able to process! :biglaugh:

If its a RD long bow a 2018 with 150 tip would be a good start.
The ACC 3-48 is a 390 spine. Mine at 30" and a 200 gr pt are at 490 gr total. Dhot from a 55# centershot DAS recurve.
