Here is the stump where she was born.

It was a nice clear morning.

I was fortunate enough to get a 12 yd shot at this guy.

Here is my homemade bow, knife, and arrow.

Glenbo you have an awful lot to be proud of.

Nice bow made by your own hand.

It also appears to be a shooter.

Congratulations on the tree chicken.

God bless,Mudd

Nice work Glen that bow is sweet. I hope to find the time this winter to make something out of the stave you gave me. Is that the same stump where Curts bow was born too?

Nice shooting, Glen. Great bow, too. Only thing that would make it better is if you had a red osier arrow there...   ;)

The bow is 68" long made from local hickory. It settled in at54# at 28" and shoots great. The finish is minwax clear satin poly. The bow is backed with rawhide and dyed with some alcohol based anniline dye.I got the grip leather from Guru.I have to get busy on the shafts Chris, soon.Jason, the stave I gave you was from this tree. The last sibling stave of "Stinker" died in a horrific bow building accident.Glen
