using his calc what kind of energy in ft lbs do ya get

That depends. Every aspect changes the FPS and ft/lbs of energy. String usage also chages things.

65# Longbow shown below. 50# recurve with 3/16 off center shows 37.7 with exact same arrow setup v. the 46.5 ft/lbs from the LB.

I must have Stu's old calculator, the one with the arrow and bow inputs only. Is there a thread with this calculator on it.

Compared to some of you I get low KE  :p
Only 33,7..
In Denmark, the closest place for me to hunt
you must have minimum 40 KE regardless if you're
hunting small or big game..

How are you guys putting then chart in your posts? I'm using Windows 7 and would like to put my chart up here, but I don't know how to.
