I guess you guys ain't kidding about low light practice. Was out shooting with JUST enough light to make out the black dot on the bag target and managed to blow up one of my surewoods.I really like to practice in the last few minutes of light as it seems thats when I get the most shot opportunities.

I'd much rather have not done it,as these are my hunting arrows this year, and I think I'm down to 8-9 now,but I don't mind destroying an arrow this way so much as missing. At least I know I can shoot and hit stuff this way. :knothead:
That's a beautiful group! Great shooting that has to give you confidence this close to fall!

That's why I shoot my hunting shafts one at a time. I never hit a plain old arrow ,but put a good shaft out there and wham,I now have 11...LOL!!
Nice shot. I just came close this evening, cost me a nock. To me, low light practice really shows if you are all set and tuned properly, and it really reinforces your confidence to know you can hammer one in the last few minutes of usable light.

That is a super group in full light, more than impressive in low light.
How far were you shooting?
Nice group!! I have been shooting at night, with a light only on my target. Man has it helped my day light and low light shooting. Hope your next pic is of a deer and an arrow hole in the boiler room. Good luck, be safe!!
Bob.
Nice shot! I really like those arrows!

Only 15 yards.Any further than that and I couldn't make out the dot against the bag.
I've had the same size groups at 20-25 but I never hooded an arrow on the second shot before.I was just in some zen like state where I didn't care where the arrow went or anything, just focus, draw, hold, focus and release, basically trusting my form alignment and release.
I dont know rich, looks like you are shooting a little left :readit:
Good shooting brother, Next arrow should be broken on a deer. :wavey:
