showed this pic earlier but worth showing again.
Only one I have shot so far is the ZSR and man what a shooter, extremely fast and super quiet. Shoots as good as my Brack Quest.
Wow Danny those are some beauties!! Had to mix it up a little with the Tulipwood Widow huh?
I have got to shoot my Tall Tines just a few times and I am really liking that bow.
Yeah Tim, all of my other bows are zebrawood with either ebony or wenge, I was worried about the tulipwood at first, was afraid it would look pink,LOL, but man that widow is beautiful. I will get some pics up this weekend.
Danny, ya got it bad, lol. Now, you just need to get into longbows more, I could offer to store some of them for you, no cost. Even the draw weight is perfect, makes me wish I could shoot a recurve with those styles of grips worth a darn.
Kevin
A surfeit of bows. :p
Very nice Danny.
Curious to find out your Favorite out of the bunch. Once you shot them all of course.
Stunning bows! Those Zebrawood veneers are sweet, and get this old Grain-Freak drooling. Congrats.
Your a lucky guy :archer:

Man o man oh man what a lucky man o man :clapper:
Lets see the widow Danny.

Beautiful bows Danny!! That Zebrawood on the Zipper is AMAZING!!!
Seams to me, you said you were done when you were selling some bows a while back. You Brack was all you needed. Yeah right. LOL Keep wathcing the classifieds guys, he will well them in a couple of months. LOL
Just funnin ya Bro. Congrats on the new bows.
BEAUTIFULL!! What the heck do you do for a living?
Really nice, Danny. Lookin' forward to seeing the PCH.
Wow those are amazing!! I love the Zippers limb veneers!
Nice Zipper! Can't wait to see the pics of the other 2.
Guys, thanks, I will get pics up of the Widow as soon as I can take some.
LOL, Larry there are two pics, 1st is the zipper, second is the talltines. Just one to go.
Bubba,
These were already on order when I said I was done. So they do not count,LOL.
Beautiful bows Danny!
Ok, here is the PCH. I am really impressed with this little bow. Shoots very well and is dead in the hand, very smooth out to my 29" draw, little noisy but a new string and bow hush and hush puppies will fix that, likes my AD Trads, not crazy about the string that came with it, but that is an easy fix, ordered a couple from SBD. I like this bow and it should be great in a blind.

Last pic seems dark, the entire bow is the same color, probably because the flash came on for that pic.
Congrats again on all the bows, But now you have the problem of which one to shoot?? :dunno:
I need to clean my targets,LOL. All the rain we have been having has them messed up, little soap and water and they should clean up a bit.
This is the first Widow I have ever owned or shot and I am liking it very much. I hope to get in the jungle in a couple of days and try to get a pig with her.
I am really liking the PCH and the Zipper. Hope to get the Tall Tines tuned in in a day or two. So far the Widow and the Zipper shoot as well as my Brack Quest, I love the grips on both. For a 54" bow the PCH has no pinch and is smooth out to my 29" draw with no stacking, gonna have to take it in the jungle soon as I get the new strings from SBD. I am a happy camper,LOL.
Got the new SBD strings and now the PCH is quiet as a mouse with the wool puffs and bow hush type wraps on the ends.
The Tall Tines is smooth and quick also and very quiet with bow hush and hush puppies. Also put a SBD string on the Zipper and it is deathly quiet and quick now and I love all three bows. Again, one happy camper.
Danny, I am showing how little I know about Pacific islands, but besides the pigs you mentioned above, what else can you hunt on Guam?
Tom,
We have Sambar deer as well as the wild pigs. Very tough to hunt the deer but they can be called in. They vocalize similar to cow elk and have a very loud alarm "bark" that will scare the you know what out of ya,LOL. The deer and pigs were brought here by the Spanish way back when. The deer are originally from the Philippines and have done very well here, they are smaller however, than the other species of Sambar.
What kind of glove is that hanging over the target above the widow? Where did you get it?
That is an American Leathers elk Big Shot glove, only gloves I use, very well made. You can get them from 3 Rivers or from American Leathers. John Shultzs son owns the business if I remember correctly.
Danny, my friend Alan Fleming is a Navy chaplain stationed on Guam--on a sub tender. He is also on this site from time to time. He just got a new Northern Mist Shelton before he moved there. You guys need to get together and do some shooting.....Dave
What material and strand string did you go with on the PCH??
Is that a low grip on the PCH?
