Title: Footing wood arrows with alum?
Post by: Don Armstrong on September 15, 2010, 04:57:00 PM
I did a serch and didn't find what I was looking for. Probably my search ability  :D  . What size alum shaft do you use to foot a 11/32" wood shaft and how long of a piece works best. Do you use epoxy to install. Thanks, Don

2315 is what I have used.. Works good.. I just used duel temp glue sticks, just like I do with points on My woodies.

Hey Don,

Here is a link to a "Build-along" I did a while back. I set all my wood arrows up with alum. footings now.

I remember that thread, Very nicely done. I did check the only one I have left and it is 2315 Easton Shaft.
