I did a serch and didn't find what I was looking for. Probably my search ability :D . What size alum shaft do you use to foot a 11/32" wood shaft and how long of a piece works best. Do you use epoxy to install. Thanks, Don
2315 is what I have used.. Works good.. I just used duel temp glue sticks, just like I do with points on My woodies.
mysticguido, How long do you make the 2315 piece. Thanks, Don
Most make it 1.5-2"s long. Shawn
length of insert X 2, around 2.5" long
Thanks guys, now all I have to do is find some 2315 cut offs. Don
try any archery shop that has a archery league. They should have some bent ones.
Hey Don,
Here is a link to a "Build-along" I did a while back. I set all my wood arrows up with alum. footings now.

I remember that thread, Very nicely done. I did check the only one I have left and it is 2315 Easton Shaft.
