Just got off the phone with Vince. Ordered a 68" Classis 50# at 31" with a Bocote riser and black glass. Vince said the bocote and black glass looks awesome. This is going to be a hunting bow so I didn't want it to be to purty ;)
Can't wait!
Awesome how long do you have to wait?
Hopefully only 4 weeks or so. Vince said he was hunting some this week. Hunting all next week. Then start on my bow. Then go on vacation!!!!! He should be refreshed and ready to finish my bow when he gets back!!!!!!
Not long at all then, be sure to post some pics when ya get her.
I sure like mine... A Black Glass/Bocote should be an awesome combination...
A good man, and fantastic Longbow all around
Pics when you get it... :bigsmyl:
Yours could end up being ugly but I have my doubts...lol
Here are some pics of my classic 68" 46@28.

Mudd that's sweeeeet! Thanks for the teaser!!!!!Vince mentioned yours.
I'll make sure and post some pics.
Congratulations! I have two from Vince and I see no reason to shoot anything else, love 'em.
Thinking about what I want my next one to look like! ;)
Eric.
A Hawk bow is a super bow! I just like that they are so smooth and seem to become an extention of you after a short while. They are quiet as well, a huge concern of mine. I bet you love your bow! Congratulations!! :clapper:
Bob.
Great choice of woods, your going to love the Bocote with the black glass. Plse post pics when you get the bow. Your really going to like how smooth Mohawks draw.

Thanks guys, can't wait.
Bob B what spine arrows does your 54# at 30" like????
Hey Buddy,
So far my carbons are right inbetween 500 and 400 spine, full length 5 grain brass insert and 175 grain head.
My woodies are sitka spruce, 31 inches long, fly best with 125 up front, but fly well with 145, Stos heads, spined 60-65 with 3 5 1/2 inch shieled cut feathers.
I hope this helps.
Bob.
Thanks. I have 3 dozen Easton 340's full length.
I kept coming up with 400 spine when I checked the charts! Looks like I'll be buying some new arrows!!!!! Unless I shoot some really high FOC!!!!
I think I'll try some of the Sitka spruce.
:archer2: Sitka Spruce!!! Test kit from Suzanne St. Charles!!!
Victory...they're great bows...mine is 66" 50@30"..I draw closer to 31" so it's 52lbs for me. They are one of the easiest shooting bows out there. It shoots a full length 5575 goldtip with authority. I was on Vince's site today toying with ordering another one a few lbs heavier and possibly a takedown...good luck with yours.
David, You will not be disappointed Vince makes a awesome bow. :bigsmyl:
It's the only bow I shoot now!
Tracy
bentpole,
How do I get a hold of Suzanne???
