I haven't shot much cedar for a couple of years now but I was at Denton Hill in July when I happened to pick up a pack of 50 shafts and just had to give them a whiff. I immediately was taken back 40 years to when I first started to play with arrows. Well, you know I just had to buy some and make some new arrows. It's amazing the immediate memories you can get just by smelling something.
Of course to do it right I needed some turkey feathers. The feathers came from stringstretcher on this site. Man, Charlie grinds some nice feathers.
Now everything will be in place as soon as the smell of fall is in the air!!
