This is the contest discussed in another thread recently. We are looking for some photos to use in an upcoming website update. Photos can be of you with a harvest, or stump shooting, or whatever, with one of our quiver.
Guidelines are that they should be in good taste, and that the bow quiver should be in view. We will run it until the end of the month. At that time we will pick a winner and they will get their choice of any quiver that we make. Judges will be Karen and someone not yet named, and myself if a tie breaker is needed.
Now that we have it started, what phots do you have to submit?
Thanks! :archer2:

The season is young. End of the month? I won't even be in the woods yet.
Gonna have to be some upstart go-getter that wins this one!

Not a setup photo to show the product, just snapped after tracking...

Great photo Jeff. Is that from last year? I don't suppose that it's even necessary to say that you probably have the lead right now?
Killdeer has agreed to be the third judge, so you guys won't have to worry about her winning now.

C'mon, pony up those pics! :readit:
See? This is the best I got!

Here are a few, I've been using them for a few years. I still have one of your riveted models that I upgraded to the new mounting system that is still going strong.

Here's a couple I took last season with my first trad harvest and a few close up passing time in the stand. This is the quiver I won in the St.Judes auction 2009. And my bunny from the JLMBH 2010.

Wow! This is getting good. You wonder what happens to the quivers that you send out to bowhunters all over the country and beyond. It's good to see more photos of where they went and how they are being used. Keep them coming.
Ron and Mark, I like that one also. Great combo, and they look like they belong where they are.
Killdeer, this is going to be tough as that horsehide I was telling you about.
:clapper: :archer2:

I'll have to wait till this weekend to take a picture, I don't remember if I have a picture that's of decent quality of my quiver attached.

Beautiful light on that first pic, Doc Blues! EB, that packout is classic.
There is a certain mellowing of the sunlight that occurs in the Fall. The pictures taken in the hunting months seem warmer and more vibrant.
Thanks for sharing these, and keep them coming, please! Not only are you getting me psyched for hunting season, but you just might be about to send in the winning shot!

2fletch,what's more popular your 3 or 4 arrow quiver?

As Killdeer said, the photos are great. Us guys who can't travel a lot can appreciate seeing hunting scenes that aren't common in our areas.
Tippit, that's a nice looking bear. I'd like to see him up close. Could you bring him to Denton Hill with you this year?
Elkbreath, I like the crossdressing bull. I'll bet that you caught him changing over.
Bucky, we sell more of the 4 arrow quivers than the 3 arrow quivers. Probably a big factor is that we offer a large variety of 4 arrow quivers, whereas we offer just one 3 arrow. Some guys will sometimes get a 4 arrow hood with a 3 arrow gripper. We are happy to mix and match.

Doc Blues, that's an awfully good shot that you made on the stump. Obviously it went to the heart.
The EFA quiver seems to have some enhancement. We have done the lacing around the top and considered putting something like the arrowhead in front but it becomes cost prohibutive. Looks good though.
Is this photo from Germany? How far from Maintz or Weisbaden?
Here is our version of what you've done.

Hello Don,
thanks for the complements, I shot the pictures last year in October near Stuttgart 130 miles south of Wiesbaden

Well, if you haven't submitted your photos then you're running out of time. There are only seven days left in the competition before we pick a winner. The winner will get their choice of any quiver that we make.
We will use several photo from this competition in our website. To thank you for your participation we'd like to do this. If your photo is used on our EFA (Eagle's Flight Archery)website then you would qualify for a 20% discount on any one of our quivers. This would be good for 30 days.
Thanks, and good luck! :archer2:

I don't have my pics ready yet but here is the set-up: Pic1: My longbow without EFA bowquiver:Title: Form without Function. Pic2: Longbow with EFA Title: Functional Form! (and darn good looking too!) What is a bow without arrows?
-
Owlbait, sounds like you have a plan. Don't wait too late. The contest only lasts a few more days (end of the month).
Apex Predator, how do you like the side mount quiver? That's the only one that I haven't personally used.
-
Two days left. :archer2:
-
Don, I'm really diggin' this side mount quiver!
-
I take it you did NOT put it on there to add mass weight to your riser, eh?
Killdeer

this quivers are so lightwieght I can fudge on some other things...

Guru, I have done the same thing with these quivers, using a piece of wood or leather covered aluminum flat stock to connect the hood and gripper attachments. The totem allows the use of them as side quivers with the addition of a thong or strap but it does feel better with a little more weight that the wood provides.
Wannabe1, that's a fine looking young man and a very good investment in the future.
Killdeer, Karen, and myself will make our list of contenders, compare list, and decide a winner possibly by Sunday. Thanks to everyone for your contribution.

Day late and dollar short.
I rushed home to snap some photos of the newly aquired Navajo from EFA.
Tradgangs photo size restriction prohibits me from posting the photos. Here's a link:

There were a lot of great photos submitted and it was tough to pick just one. However, it was unanimous, we all agreed that the photo submitted by Mark Kadnuck "KADBOW" of the bow and quiver resting against a downed tree high above the canyon was the best of the best. Congratulations Mark! If you want to call me to discuss the quiver of your choice than call: Don Ward, EFA, 919 563-2682
Thanks to everyone who participated, as well as Kathy "Killdeer" for helping as the third judge. If you submitted a photo then you qualify for a 20% discount on any quiver that you might order in the next 30 days.
Again, thanks everyone. :clapper:

Excellent photography!
One of those shots that I look at and wish I were there. Then again, anywhere is better than work!
Congrats on your win, you will love the quiver!
