does anyone have pics and how do you make it im all about saving some cash
rubber band - tooth pick. Place tooth pick on other side of arrow pass, hook rubber band on one end of pick then over arrow & arrow pass, then slide over tooth pick end.

Here are some i copied from Tippit using a matchstick..just substitute a toothpick. i like the matchstick because it is a little more sturdy! :)
now will it slip off or do you need to take it off before you draw
i slip it off before i draw...
I use a homemade style that I make with a small piece of plastic drill a hole and velcro to attach.I have used them since mid 70's.Kip

Randy,
If you fix the match stick on the off side of the bow, with the head pointing back, the rubber band will self release as you draw it back.
Kip that looks like the old Silent Partner.
Tom I'm guessin a Bob Lee?
Tom not sure what they called them way back then but work great.I had one on my K-mag that I bought then just copied them but your memory is way better than my grey matter.Kip
Kip this blind ole bat is having trouble see how you made it. Can you help?
Thank you!
God bless,Mudd
That's a hoot! For forty years I've been blundering around the woods holding the arrow on with my finger. Good post.
I used one made of a popsicle stick and rubber bands for years, The rubber can slide on the arrow if the arrow is wet so I quit using them.
Since I shoot off a rug on the shelf, I have no problem with the arrow falling off while on stand, unless it is real windy, then I just get down and go set in a ground blind. Still hunting, I never put an arrow on the bow till a shot is eminent (To dangerous walking around with along pointy thing sticking out there)
Daniel. The pics are gone. Maybe asking the poster to repost them? Or email them?
Here is a link to Whip's response from days past.

Bummer!...lookin' like the Photopukit patch doesn't work anymore.
:help:
You sure your attaching it to the back of your bow instead of the front..... I've used a quick lock for years and never even thought of it not releasing...

The side of the bow facing the archer is considered the front. The back is the side facing away.
Kwikloc holds the arrow on the front of the bow, toward the archer.
They work wonderfully. Takes a half second to secure the arrow without looking and releases when you draw.
I did the toothpick holder for years, it works great. I also used twigs from whatever tree I was sitting in. I have had so many arrows fall off of my bow....it is what led me to start making these:
