I am on a lmited budget and am possibly looking to buy a Samick Red Stag. I have read some of the threads about Samick and past lamination problems, but have also heard personally at local shoots about how good they are for the money.
Any red stag owners out there that are willing to post comments and photos of yours? Maybe some pics of your groups at 20 yards? Weight you're shooting and arrows using? And anyone know how far off center the shelf is cut?
Really only interested in the Red Stag at the moment but any comments about Samick are welcomed.

I have a 3pc Red Stag Recurve. I have no experience with the LB, but based on the performance of my recurve I would not hesitate to buy the LB. Great shooter. Samick sells bows by the thousands, so having some with issues is to be expected. Happens with the best customs too. I also recently bought a used Night Hawk 3pc Recurve. It's a higher-end bow and I don't believe you could tell it's not a pricy custom. Perfect finish and she is a shooter.

I was looking at picking one of these up for my daughter. I would also like to hear some feedback from those who have shot one.
Have had 3 Samicks:
Equus
Phantom
Tradtech Pinnacle 2
The Equus was dupposedly 55# but hit 61#
The Phantom was supposedly 50# but hit 54#
The TT Pinnacle 2 adjusts and hit the requested weight (35# limbs on 19" riser= 50# near midpoint of adjustment range).
The Equus had a slight milky spot in the finish in one small area. Lams, workmanship, everything else was done VERY well.
My Phantom was a little rougher on some fit and finish spots. Still decent but not perfect.
My Tradtech was done well, no issues other than the too thick of grip (same issue with Phantom- both got to meet Dr. Dremel).

Not a bad buy, but don't expect perfection. I'd order one from a good dealer and if it doesn't fit within your usable expectations, send it back and have them get you another.
I only shot a few hundred arrows through my Equus, no problems. Maybe 200 from my Phantom- no problems- guy bought it from me, has shot it maybe 300 times since, no problems.
My TT has had only a couple hundred shots out of it, no problems.
Forgot to add: The TT and Phantom are cut just to center, not past center.
