Let us all take a moment today in the course of our busy lives to remember those casualties of the war on terror who perished in New York City, the Pentagon and the flight 93 field in Pennsylvania.
Also, let's not forget the other casualties of the War on Terror who perished in Iraq, Afghanistan and other locales.
A minute or two of prayer, remembrance and reflection would be appropriate for all of the fallen, as well as for the safe return of those who still serve.

Amen!
Thank you for the reminder!
We are truly blessed to have a country where people can and will choose to lay down their lives on a daily basis to protect all of our freedoms.
God bless us all!

They shall not grow old as we who are left grow old.
Age shall not weary them, nor the years condemn.
At the going down of the sun and in the morning,
We will remember them.

Excellent post Jarhead_Hunter, If we forget about the people who died needlessly that day, Why are we Fighting? There is a story on Fox News about the first living Medal of Honor recipient since Vietnam. It is a great example of the daily selfless acts happening in Afghanistan. The reasons service members are willing to risk their lives is to prevent another Sept 11th from occurring.

May we never forget.

God bless those who fell that horrible day, especially those brave souls who ran into the towers while everyone else was running out.
Godspeed and straight shooting to our downrange folks.

AMEN!
I woke up this morning thinking about those who have made the ultimate sacrifice for this country, in the current conflict and in conflicts past. Never forget that there are those out there who would destroy this country and all it stands for unless brave men and women stand in their way. Never forget what the terrorists did and would like to do again. And stand in their way at every opportunity. God Bless America!
It sometimes seems that we go one with our lives and things get taken for granted. Thank you for the reminder that life is precious and some many have given or lost everything for our freedom and safety. God bless all who have served and all who have sacrificed everything for us.
God bless America!!!

Lord Bless those that keep our country safe and those who've died likewise. No greater love hath no man than to lay down his life for his fellow man.
Forgiveness possible; Forget never!
A day of rememberance in our great country and may we all go to the poles in November to vote into office the leaders that will not forget and leaders who will restore what has been lost since the last election.
Our modern day Pearl Harbor. Let us never forget the feelings of unity and the feeling of "America" that we all felt that day after the attack. May we never forget those who were lost that day and afterwards. And especially those who have served and those who are serving in our military.
Come home safely, I pray.

I will Remember that Day. I was working in newark at the time and Watched the Towers Fall.
I agree that we should remember those who died that day and never forget what happened. Unfortunately, it appears there are many who have forgotten. There's not a single flag flying on my street today besides mine. Thanks for the reminder.

My flag is out at the street for all to see!!
I did my part in Vietnam and I will not allow our troops to be treated for serving their country the way we were.
God bless them all and bring them home safely.
Our troops are worth making a stand for here at home.
God bless us all!
