Guys,
I usually hunt elk in unit 74 north of Durango, CO, but was considering huning in unit 78 (around Chromo) since it's a shorter drive from San Antonio. I plan to leave on 9/15 and hunt till the end of the season on 09/26. Has anyone had experiences (good/bad) with unit 78 that they might want to pass along to me so I can make a decision? Also, is unit 78 overrun with hunters?
BTW, I will be hunting alone since my hunting partner pulled out on me AGAIN.
