It looks like Brian at Tall Tines Archery has been very busy lately!! I saw two other posts from guys that have their Tall Tines in route so I figured I would post mine as well.
It is a 60" 57#@28" recurve with Chechen riser and Myrtle veneers.

NICE!!! Chechen is a cool wood. I too have one on it's way to me. Mine has myrtle limbs as well...with the phenolic riser. I have a second set of limbs for it being built and I haven't even shot the 1st one. I think I'll be ordering a 3rd before the years out. Those poor deer this year!!!....Ryan
All I can say is "Get on the list and STAY on the list!"
You guys are making me jealous. My number HAS to be coming up again soon...
Very nice, and perfect measurements.
I'm packing mine up tonight for a trip to Utah and then up into Montana. I get to sleep with my Tall Tines for 3 weeks straight! Ha! Good luck to you guys. Mike
Nice Tim. Another looker from Brian.
Pretty bow! i'm glad you guys are keeping him too busy to come out with his take down longbow yet! :D
Thanks guys.
Rastaman, I think Brian rolled out his takedown longbow at ETAR this year. I took that as he was ready to take orders for them. Looks like he still has one in stock on his website.
Nice!!!!
Its just amazing the beautiful functional bows being produced and this is sure no exeption.Mike your book inspired me so much ,I'm off for Elk next Friday,Its been 25 years between Bugles, much to long.I keep thinking of that deep, dark canyon of yours. All the best.
Thanks Steve. It has been a couple of seasons since I've been out west myself. I make my own bows, but the TD Tall Tines travels better on a plane. Ha! I hope to find a deep dark canyon full of elk in the Montana wilderness too! Ha! Good luck to you, and play safe! Mike
Rastaman,
You have got to pay closer attention...

Another beauty ! Hmm, should we just lump all these new Tall Tines into one thread ?
Congrats Tim...and just in time. :D

Announcement on his site says ONE PIECE not three piece. Changed it just after he took the first one to the show.
Must thank you guys for intoducing me to Tall Tines. Didn't know about them until recent joining trad gang. Love the riser design. Really nice bows pictured here, very jealous that I now have to wait my turn.
Your going to love his bows David. I've been shooting daily and it gets better everyday. Love those bows.
Steve, I have had a few rough days at home so I haven't gotten a chance to play with her to much. I did throw some home made wool puff ball silencers on her and she is whisper quiet now. The bow really likes Gold Tip 7595 cut to 31" with 225 grains up front.
Here is the first arrow out of her. Sorry for the poor quality it is in my basement and taken with my phone.

NICE! Looking forward to the full report...
Well guys I have done some tuning and think I have her dialed in. Since I live in the city I have to go to my inlaws to get any real distance for safe shooting. I went down yesterday and am very happy with my new Tall Tines. I do have to say that the bow shoots flatter than I thought it would. I am shooting Gold Tip 7595s cut to 30" with 100 grain brass insert and 125 grain points. It was a little noisy before adding silencers to her but after adding wool puff balls she is whisper quiet now. Nothing needed for the string contact area on the limbs.
Here is a picture of my first group shot at 25 yards from a 15 feet elevated platform:

The arrow that is kicked a little left was cut to 31" long. The 31" and 30" arrows both flew great at 15 yards. This is why I like to shoot a little farther when tuning to make sure everything flys nice and true.
I threw a 125 grain Muzzy Phantom on and shot a few arrows at a foam block. They flew exactly like the field points. I think I am ready for Oct. 1st which is the opener for deer season here in Michigan!!
Nice Tim!
I have some work in Iowa this week, so was able to stop by the TallTines shop this evening. Brian just got his 3pc longbow that he is going to hunt with done. We shot for a bit and I've got one on order. Too hard to resist! Just like his recurves--GREAT grip and smoking fast. I'm glad there is not as long of an order list on the longbows
Great lookin bow Tim!! I really like the profile of those Tall Tines!!
Does anyone know if he can put the longbow limbs on the recurve riser??
Steve O.,
Leave him alone. He is working on mine this week!
Dave
I too got my TT this week. No time for the review it deserves right now but will next week. Glad to hear you like yours Tim...Ryan
