I got home today to find a USPS box on the porch..inside was my new wool shirt (pattern perfect for my pine stand) and haversack! Awesome quality, great fit, and the pattern is perfect. I'm liking the idea of a QUIET wool haversack as opposed to my standard canvas possibles bag. Gosh I can't wait until October 1st.....PLEASE be a cold day!
Thanks Fred and Teresa!!!!

Roger, At first glance I thought you were G.F.A. himself modeling his wool pullovers...Can't get that song out of my head that go's like this "I'm too sexy for my shirt"...Great pose there kinda got this mean "No body bothers me look"... I'm just poking an arrow at ya Roger hope you don't mind and that is a great looking pullover...God Bless, Keefer's <")))><
Ha! No worries.....I have been accused of "looking crabby" many times. Believe it or not, I was smiling!! :p
Looks good. Been considering one for myself. Now he just has to come out with some lightweight wool nine pocket pants.
Looks great! We open next Wednesday and I too am hoping for a cool crisp morning..
I have been thinking about buying one of G Freds shirts myself, and now I'm sure I will. Looks great.
Roger, I wear a 2XL and just wondering if that was a XL OR 2 XL and if by chance it is a 2XL how does it fit? I kind of like a little extra room for a liner under wool and wanted to know what you thought about the fit? Roomy or tight?..
Mine is a large
I have two and really like them. Would be nice to have some cooler weather around here for a while.
Did you get that haversack from him also Roger? I don't think I've ever seen one of those.
I've had one of his/Teresa's pullovers for 8 yrs and couldn't begin to count how many days I've worn it.
I'm excited now, I just ordered one.
That looks good Roger.
I've been thinking about a pullover and a hooded vest.
I am about 5' 10 1/2, 200 lbs. Wear a large in most shirts and jackets. Would a large be about right in the pullover?
Thanks,
Ron
Looks great!
(I can't wait to get mine (a pullover in ESG and a hooded vest in ESB) next week!)
Ron - hmmmm..... I'm 5'10" and 210 lbs. and I wear an XL in almost everything. If you order, ask Teresa for her advice in sizing.
I'm 5'9" 185. I told Teresa I'm in between a Medium and large in most long sleeve shirts, and she made it accordingly and shipped the next day. Can't ask for better service then that.
I'm 5'10" (maybe) and about 200. Teresa made mine kind of a loose large....Talk to her and tell her your dimensions. She will build it right. Yes, the haversack was made by Teresa also. I'm probably getting in trouble saying that out loud, I don't know if she is ready to advertise that yet.
240 lbs, 5'10" 42" waist - XL just fits. I can wear thin fleece under it. The sleeves are a little long but I roll them up one turn and it works very well. I also have an XL vest that I wear the fleece shirt under as well.
HTH,
Martin
Man, I wish it was cooler in Texas! :(
aaaawwww...you guys are pretty cool down there :bigsmyl:
...and I would look silly cruising through the Michigan bush in a cowbot hat and Ropers!
well there's a fine figure of a man if i ever saw one! would that bow happen to be a 59er or maybe a shrew lil favorite?
Does anybody know if there is any UV brighteners used in the wool fabric of these pullovers?
I might have to get one of these, they look great!
Thats a Li'l favorite. 54"
I have two of them, great piece of gear that is priced fair.
I have two: pullover with hood and a vest with no hood. They are spot on perfect! Great quality and great value.
Teresa is a pleasure to deal with too. Curious about the haversack. Any chance for some more pics???
Roger, those are great sweaters. I use mine all the time!
Frank
Crud, they're out of the one I wanted. Oh well. They look good!
