Title: Classifieds
Post by: trcytylr on September 08, 2010, 09:30:00 PM
Forgive me please!
But it sure would make life easier if everyone would edit their items in the classifieds as "sold". When they actually sell.

There's lots of pages of items to look through just to find out they are sold on the last page you look.

Flusterating    :(    :goldtooth:

You would think that if it is simple enough for a dinosaur like me to figure out more would be able to do it as well. Agree.

If you change the title to sold, it will be deleted for you.

They just need to read the rules and follow up with their own adds,it would help everyone using this site.

I did something the other day and maybe we could do this to help everyone.

I sent a pm to the person asking them to edit after I saw the ad for more than a week after the item sold.

It worked!!

I made it my business because it's my classifieds too and I figured the Mods had enough to do.

If this isn't my place to do please tell me and I won't do it again.

God bless,Mudd

They should just drop off after a set period of time, if its not sold then it can be re posted. JMO

If an add isn't posted to for 90 days the system automatically deletes it for us. So if you leave old ads alone they go away, if you bump it, it stays for at least 90 more days if it doesn't get the title edited to sold and seen by a mod who can delete it. If a seller hasn't touched their ad to at least TTT it in a week or so, probably not someone you want to do a lot of business with anyways.
