Is there such a thing as a store bought bow stringer like every archery shop had mounted on the wall or counter. Most had a way to put the handle and another place to put the limb. You pulled down on the upper limb to string the bow. What is a good way to string bows with out a string style stringer.

I made mine using boat rollers. Bolted them to the work bench. Easy to do.
Also built one to mount in the receiver hitch on my van, used it while doing vendor events.

I have no pictures, when I sold the business I took the bench and rollers out. Sorry.
It is easy to make. I bolted the rollers (large bolt) to the side of the bench. Place the rollers so one will be in the grip and the other about 8" or so from the limb tip. I just my arms/weight to bend the limb back over the roller to string and unstring. I believe Black Widow has something like this in their shop. It works well to prevent twisting limbs. If you string and unstring a lot of bows, it is very helpful.

Friend of mine had two 3/4 x 5" rods welded to his Jeep grill straight up with cut water hose slipped over to protect limbs and handle.Slip one limb front off post and grip of handle on back of the other pull other limb to you and string very easy.Kip

Here's a pic of one I put on my work bench. Rounded the end of a chunk of 2x4 and screwed it to the bench (padded and for the lower limb tip).
I've got a rubber pad that I put in my vice and that's the pivot point for the handle. Pull down on upper tip and put string in groove.
