Here are a few pics of my new Bigriver 2 piece t/d. It has a bacote riser with an ibeam of some unknown wood, bamboo core & brown glass. The tips are buffalo horn. I got the horn & bacote from my bud hornhunter. If anyone likes the tips, I can send them some small pieces for there bowtips. 53#@30", 60" with a sleeve system for the takedown. I will run her through the paces & take it along for an elk killing excursion in a week or so.

Nice lines, sweet wood. She's a keeper !
That is SWEET!!
John can sure build them can't he. I bet that one is a shooter, very nice lines to those limbs.
Thats awesome Brian! Did John do the snakeskins??????
Nice bow Brain, glad it's working out. Hope it sheds some blood , hopefully not your own, LOL!!
Rafael, been there, have the bruises to show!
Joe, yep he did, add that to your next bow wish list!!
It is a shooter, John`s recurve are really efficient little bows.
Nice looking bow. The short riser appeals to me.
Very nice looking bow.....Randy
you gonna call this "brokeback mountain" ?
cute dog BTW
Great looking bow!
Brian the wood is bocate with either bubinga or tigerwood I beam. That is a well designed , well built bow. Very nice. It all works. Steve
HH, i`m still trying to get over the pucker factor on her. Every time I string it, my first pull is with my eyes closed :D
Sixby, that i beam isnt either of those. I helped John make this thing & he doesnt even know what it is. It looks like american cherry, but it is much harder & heavier than that. Any other ideas?
Ipe, I 've seen it that light. If its not any of them then no. No Idea. Its sure a nice bow though. god Bless you, Steve
Awsome bow and good news that means that John is a little closer to working on my bow.
Nice bow, Brian. Hoefully this one will be the "ice breaker" for you. Good luck in Colorado!
Very nice! I like it. Lippe
That bow has the sweetest lines! She just looks like a serious shooter. Congrats on a fine bow, and Good Luck Huntin'! :clapper:
53 at 30" those are perfect specs. Does it stack bad at only 60" ?
Good looking bow. Congrats! :clapper:
Johns bows have no stack, his recurves feel like they have let off. This is my 5th one, cant decide if I like the curves or the longbows better.
Another nice bow here. I can keep checking this things out all night.
Awesome Brian, Yet another J.M. master Piece.
I am thankful I had the opportunity to have one of his bows and meet such a nice man.
Your biggest problem now Brian is choosing which bow to use. I dont have that problem "yet".
Cheers on the new bow, Its beautiful.
