I made these and the bow and posted both not too long ago. They'll be tipped with MA-2's and a small brass footing. I took them out this weekend to the Nebraska Traditional Archers annual rendezvous and 3D. They shot pretty good!

Thanks to everyone for the pics, mine should be ready tomorrow. I'll post pics. Dad still doesn't have a new pattern but I'll post his old ones. He is looking for one with a high back swift style profile. Luke
I'm going with some Surewood shafts that are footed with Blackwood, 4-4" red barred with last 1" spliced white, top off with 145 gr Eclipse double bevel heads. Total weight 600gr.........camera broke!

Those are Nice.
Hard but effective!
I LOVE Those Footed Shafts!! VERY Classy!! I would have a Really Hard time Staining them, although I know its neccessary (?)! Awsome Arrows Folks!! :archer:
Mine ain't near as fancy as some that I've seen here, but give me time....this is my first batch ever.
I don't think I did too bad my first time around?
Afterall, the intention is merely to put one through an animal....right?

Best of all they shoot great!
Finger tip is touching the one with a broadhead on it, the rest are field points

I just ordered them from Suzanne St. Charles. They should be here by next Friday. Ordered the Stika Spruce field arrows with Blue and Orange fletching. Wensel Woodsman broadheads to boot. My son has ordered the same thing with Purple and Orange fletching. We also ordered six blunts and twenty with field tip each.
All this was made possible by winning a raffle at the Limerick Bowmen Archery Club! Yes, it was a great weekend. (:
