After seeing several items being given away here, and after having a good summer, Karen and I have decided that we would like to give away an EFA bow quiver.
Well, it wouldn't really be something for nothing. (My capitalistic and conservative leanings wouldn't allow that.) It would be a contest of some kind.
Since we're going to soon revamp our website to include a lot of new stuff, maybe some positive quotes from some of you about our products, or photos of your success with them would be useful. The winner would be the quote or photo considered to be the most worthy. Judges would be Karen, myself, and maybe one other person to be named.
What do you think of such an idea? If enough of you want to do it then we get it started. The winner would get their choice of any quiver that we make.
This is to determine the interest in this contest. We'd start a new thread for the contest. :archer2:

I'd sure like a chance to win one of your fine quivers, but I'm not all that creative or witty, I feel handicapped. :knothead:
I'm witty and quite creative. unfortunately I do not own one of your products to be creative and witty to use and quote or take pictures with. This would be the reason I would enter the contest to begin with.
I think your quivers look great and I would like to win one of them, but I've never owned one so it would be difficult for me to post a positive quote about them, except that I think one of those copperhead skinned ones would look great on my copperhead skinned Predator!
So, would I be eligible for the drawing??
So I'd have to lay claim to ..
"EFA... sharp deposits and keen returns"
if, I was wanting to enter a possible contest.. :D
This sounds like a great idea. I was given one of your 4 arrow brown quivers and it is the best I have EVER put on my bow. Whenever I've added a quiver in the past, it always effected my shooting. Yours does not. Even with arrows in the effects are negligible. Frankly I think EFA's are the best quivers on the market, period.
Oh, and yes, I'd love a chance to win a quiver! In the spirit I'd pass mine along as well : )
Sure lets do it
Shaft protection at it's finest.
Sounds good to me.
I'm up for it. From what I can see your quivers look very nice.
Quite frankly, I don't own a quiver unless you count that old 2 piece Kwikee 1960's piece of crap that's all dry rotted?
I actually made my own from a compound bow quiver and a nylon bow holder that clips to your belt. It's crude but effective and I haven't cut myself yet with a broadhead, but I'm sure it's coming.
Sounds great, I already have a 3 Arrow Cherokee that I've had for 2 years & am seriously thinking of getting a 4 arrow to match it.
Great, great quivers! A chance to win one would be fun.
I've had three EFQ , And they are great a product, They've never affected my shooting or my accuracy.

I think everyone should take a guess at how many seconds it takes for you to make one of these fine works of art. Put a picture up of the one we would have to guess at. You of course would have to time yourself the nest time you make one which of course may make you want to raise the prices of these. So now I am second guessing my suggestion.
I've got some pictures I could enter.
I would be interested in participating in this to have a chance at ANOTHER EFA quiver :goldtooth:
Looks like a great idea. Would love to win one because I don't own one now. As far as a quote I would have to say that they are one of the best looking bow quivers out there. As a picture I would have to take one when I put it on my bow and put it to good use. Would get a lot of looks with that quiver on the bow. They look great.
I have 2 of your EFA quivers and without a dont are the best quiver I have ever used.. You make a great product
Would definitely be interested. I just realized I'm about 60 minutes from you, in Asheboro. Win one or not, I have a feeling I'll be owning one soon. Gotta support local, I say.
Nice quivers!
Those quivers look amazing. I think your contest idea is a great 1 :clapper:
Bud B., you aren't that far away. Feel welcome to come up and shoot with us on Tuesday night some time.
Looks like this ought to be fun. After today we should be caught up on orders so will have time to get this up and running. Haven't decided exactly but probably we will have to give two away, one for current owners and one for would be owners of an EFA bow quiver. Any last minute ideas are welcome. :archer2:
Oh yea! I'd be up for that. Great quivers and I need another one for sure. Keep me informed.
Yep, I'd be in, love your 4-arrow!

Yep I'd be in as well. Used to own two of the strap on's. I wish that I had never sold them now. Compared to others I've tried They were very well made, stayed where you put them and didn't add much weight to the bow at all. They were actually very stable quivers. I would love to own a current model!
I've owned a EFA quiver - gave it to my son-in who was quiver-less. Great attachement system and trouble free.
Stay sharp and hunt smart!

could you put me in on this too?
E.F.A. Quivers...Don't even know it's on the bow! Light as a feather and tuff as Terry Greene! :biglaugh: I got two of the older strap ons but would love to try the newer strap! Great Quiver even if I don't win one...
Yo Don!! Count me in for sure1
Well, I suppose it's time to get it going. The first quiver will be awarded to the best photo of a harvest, or other activity with our EFA bow quiver in view. A new thread will be started in the next few minutes for this.
The second quiver will be given for the best quote about EFA (Eagle's Flight Archery) bow quivers...,and you may be poetic. You don't have to be a current owner of an EFA bow quiver, but you should be familiar with them. This thread will be started tonight also.
Note: Any photos or quotes would be submitted with the understanding that they may be used as part of the EFA future website.
Good luck! :archer2:
WHAT??!!!
No royalties????
:scared:
And all I wanted was ten dollars!
Killdeer :wavey:
Nice meeting you and your wife today Sir!!
My arm was twisted enough. When you do the contest I certainly will enter!!
Hi Bud,
It was good to meet you, and look forward to your coming to the shop in Mebane.
The photo contest is underway. It's on the front page of Tradgand now and is getting some great photos posted to it. The contest will end on the last day of the month so don't wait to late.
:archer2:
Since I left Ramseur I've been tearing apart a Jeep Cherokke front end to replace the radiator....ARRGHH!
I'll get there soon, but maybe not in time to get a photo in. IF I can get this radiator in myself I figure I'm saving about $300 in labor. Surely the wife won't mind a new trad toy as a reward for saving so much :)
See you soon.
Bud
How about anyone who posts a product review of an EFA quiver is an automatic winner! :readit: :bigsmyl:
With that kind of creative thinking Mike (owlbait) you might win anyway. :biglaugh: :archer2:
I'm blushing with envy of the creative way you promote you quivers.

Well, this is the perfect example of why I don't post much in here...I re-read my comment above and frankly am embarrassed for the way it reads. I didn't mean anything out of the way by it.
I ment my comments to be complimentary of the idea.
The quivers look to be not only of quality workmanship but also are down right nice to look at...something worthy to be on a beautiful traditional bow...I think all "makers" strive for this an obviously it has been accomplished.
If I was to name a "tag line" for them it would be:
"Tough enough to use and sexy enough to be seen with."
Sorry about the mis-write.

If you look closely at my arrows, you can see it took two.
the Quiver is of a Beautifull quality ...I would love to have a chance to have one ..please add my name...
Chris O, you should enter in the photo and the quote threads running now. You can qualify for both.
Randy, you can enter also.
Art, I don't believe that your post was negative. I was just curious as to what you meant. Hope to see you in ETAR or the classic next year.
I love mine - EFA go for it :archer:
