Title: Are newer WW's shorter?
Post by: Lewis Brookshire III on September 03, 2010, 02:30:00 PM
I just got some newer "Standard" WW screw-in heads and they are 1/4"-3/8" shorter than my older heads, have they started making them shorter? Just curious.

Not that I know of but haven't bought any in about a year.

The new 125 grain screw-ins are a little shorter, the original 125 glue ons and 145 screw in have not changed.  The 125 screw-in had to be made a little shorter to make weight.

Yep, and shorter means steeper blade angle.

They should just call them a WV instead of WW.
