Awhile back someone ask about how folks with Jeeps carry their bows.
Just finished this rack for my Jeep. It is constructed of 1" round bar. It is secured in the rear by the existing holes where the seat belts used to be...I do not use a rear seat anymore. In the front there is a hole drilled in an aftermarket shelf I added awhile back.
The bow holder are from the company that makes sure grip racks. I was lucky enough to get some of their discontinued 90 degree attachment brackets.
If I had to do it again I would have gone with some 1" square tubing instead of the 1" round bar. Sure Grip makes a nice square attachment bracket with set screw.
Anyway here is what it looks like...will add more pix later. My battery went dead this evening after I finished it up.

Neat set-up Chris!
That looks good Chris, I carry my bowfishing rig side ways over the roll bar. I used to have a Big Sky gun rack in the PU that looked alot like your setup.
Thanks for the tip Chris.
That's a good Idea, my 66" Hill will just fit in my Jeep on an angle. I slide it over the top of the roll bar.
excellnt idea!!!
Now you can come hunt with me!
Just bought a Jeep for hunting this season. I may have to give this a try. To be honest, I hadn't even thought about how I was going to carry my bow. I guess I had better test it out before opening day.
Nice roll cage Chris. My bars are stock though.
Johnny,
Would like to come down and hunt with ya! Just need to get some free time now.
Joe,
My roll cage is stock...I just added the shelf to the front.
Now if we started getting into other parts of my Jeep there is not many stock parts left;)
I only have two major purchases and a few minor ones to finish up the mods I have been wanting to do.
