Post by: anchorman on September 01, 2010, 08:57:00 PM
Any suggestions on keeping the bleeder blade in place on a wood shaft? First time user and having somewhat of a issue...thanks

I just use hot melt to hold them in place.

Are you getting the slots opened up well so the blades can seat all the way back?  Check this link:  http://tradgang.com/cgi-bin/ultimatebb.cgi?ubb=get_topic;f=1;t=091892

I used my daughter's clear  finger nail polish to keep bleeders from rattling on my razorheads. May help.

You'll need to slot your tapers so they will seat properly, or you can cut them shorter if you don't want to do that.  I still use extra hot melt on the end of the taper to lock them in though.

Fletcher's linked method above is the best option IMO.
