Earlier this month I posted pics of my daughter getting a bow sent to her from Chris Surtees. She had it in her mind to have Dad camo it. Guess who won ??. Here 's the result, she had to have pink camo, so this is what we came up with... used fern leaves for the pattern. I sprayed it earlier today, had it waiting on her to come in from school as a surprise.... needless to say, she is pumped !!!. Barney (ber643) has nicknamed her "Tadpole". I wrote it on the bow for her... now I have both my youngun's shooting with me !!!!

Hey Lanier that is great ,keep them shooting .also good job on the paint ,dont think i have met your son at the hill shoot ,,bring them both next year ,my youngest will be 6 by then and he is shooting his long bow.

Very nicely done camo job, Frogster! Tadpole is a very lucky gal. I wish I had had a dad who hunted and wanted me to come along. The place I always went on my own was the woods.

I love it - skillful (artistic) camo job on Tadpoles Bow, Froggy. I swear that is a million dollar smile. I also Love that the name stuck - sorta feels like she accepted a part of my heart (ol' folks git sentimental) . Those pink wraps from Terry are going to look great on her shafts too.

BTW mine is "Bernie", short for Bernard - but don't feel bad, I've had folks that called me Barney - even after they knew - LOL
