Riser: grey actionwood with a parallel bocote accent stripe,also with black and red phenolic stripe on either side of the bocote

Limbs: Bocote w/ grey actionwood wedges

Specs: approx. 52 lbs @ my 28" draw

.....Can you see it?? You will be able to in about four months.

Since I have been into traditional, I've wanted a custom bow. And after alot of searching and good word of mouth reviews here on tradgang, this is what I've decided on. I almost bought a black Creek in the classified last week, if it was about 7 lbs heavier, it would probably be in my hands by now. After that, I really got the bug and couldn't shake it.

After a few phone calls to Jim Gainey at Black Creek Bows, the details have been decided. Man, I didnt realize that picking wood types for a custom bow could be so hard. I've looked all weekend at different wood combos on the internet. But the rest was easy thanks to Jim. I send a "Thank You" out to him for putting up with me being so picky on the details. I know I've got to let go and let him do his artwork.

And the wait is on!! :goldtooth:
