what two blade broadheads do you use and why.
-
Grizzly El Grandes - I get good FOC and great penetration with the 200 grain heads.
-
SF 180gr XL or magnus stinger...silver flames are scary sharp..magnus stingers come sharp and are easy to resharpen.
-
Zwickey, Bear, They are proven by others and myself, and most importantly they are easy to sharpen.
-
125-grain Ace Standards. They take and hold a great edge, mount true, are incredibly tough, and have worked perfectly for me on everything from small game to bull moose.
-
Magnus 1, 1 1/2" wide, easy to sharpen and get the job done. What is not to like?
Also use SF "DS" model, 1 7/8" wide, are sharp as heck to begin with, but touch up nicely, do get some chips in them when shot, but what head doesn't. Only drawback is the price...
Would love to try the Centaur heads... both versions...

Magnus Stingers and Simmons Sharks
-
Magnus vented flew perfect.
-
zwickey deltas. i really like thier steel its very easy to sharpen and durable been shootin them for 40 years without a failure on a animal..
-
Magnus I 160grn. Sharpen nicely and lifetime guaranty.
Grizzly El Grande 200 grn. Sharpened they end up at 175 grn. Haven't used them yet. Good luck.
Magnus
-
Old, green, Bear Razorheads without the bleeder, and Ace Standard 160 grain glue on. Easily sharpened and stout enough for what I hunt(whitetail deer and feral hogs).
-
I use the STOS, I like the way the sharpen and fly.
-
125 gr Magnus. 3 deer and 3 pass throughs. Very easy for me to sharpen.
-
Zwickey Deltas and old Bear Razorheads.
-
I like the magnus stingers as well. Sharp enough to hunt with straight out of the package, durable, easy to sharpen, replacable blades, lifetime guarantee, and won't break the bank. Hard to beat.
-
Ribteks.
Easy to sharpen.
Tough.
Inexpensive.
-
For a glue on I prefer the ribteks as well.
-
Zwickey no mercy single bevel. If I can find the pictures I'll post them. I missed the 3D deer and stuck it into a concrete block. The BH went in just shy of 1/4". The nock shot one way and the arrow another, even blew the feathers off the shaft. After working the BH free I was surprised to find only the very tip of it bent. I bent the tip back and sharpened it a little. I took 3 deer with it later that season

Glue-on? Eclipse, STOS, Magnus, Zwickey, Grizzly (If you can find 'em). Get 'em super sharp and go for it. todd
-
Bear Greenies because they are cheap, fly great and make meat !
-
Grizzly 160's
-
Zwickey deltas. Why change? They been working for me for 20 years.
-
Used a lot of different 2 blade heads over the years but for quite a while now I've been sticking to Ribteks.
As John said, easy to sharpen, real tough, inexpensive, and they fly good for me. I really like the 160's. I've got plenty left so no need to change now.
-
Grizzly 200gr with 100gr adapters
Fly unbelievably good, can get them sharper then most other heads.
Magnus 1- simple, solid easy to sharpen and wide.
-
I am still sticking with my MA-II's. 125 grains with 25 grain screw in adapters for 150 grains total.
Wide, but not too wide. Long, but not too long.
Fly just right.
OkKeith
-
160 grain STOS, 135 grain Zwickey Deltas, 175 grain Abowyer Wapitis, and a few others. they all work well.
-
145gr. Eclipse.
-
Magnus I's are pretty good. Nice blood trails.
-
Grizzly 160 and the accusharp works like magic on less than perfect hit.
-
Depending on which of my two recurves I'm shooting, either the 145 grain or 130 grain STOS. They're durable, the tips don't curl, easy to sharpen, inexpensive, fly like a field point and hit where I look.
-
Zwickey Eskimos. Tried and true. Thinking about Eclipse...
-
Simmons Interceptor are sharpened and in the quiver ready to draw blood.
-
Goin with the Abowyer Javelina's this year! They fly like darts for me, scary sharp right out of the box, loving it!

-
Abowyer whitetails,215 gr, wide, THICK blades....cause they dont make a 200 gr glue on snuffer.
-
For the past few years I've been shooting Ace Express 165. I like the weight, size and the straight edge is easiest for me to sharpen. I file a tanto type point on them and have never damaged one. The Zwickey Delta is also very high on my list, but I wish they were heavier.
Even before all this FOC hype started up, I found that heavier heads just shot better for me. Now that we're getting some heads heavier than 160, I'm moving towards them.
-
The original 160 gr Elburg Grizzly. I load this with 125 gr steel adapters for a 285 gr head.
They are sharp and tough.
-
Zwickey Delta's and Magnus 1,never needed anything else.
-
Muzzy 200 grain Phantoms. Fly perfect and scary sharp!
-
160 grain STOS. They are easy to sharpen and very strong. On the weekend, I shot two into big rocks, and they were untouched and absolutely perfect. So were the shafts, which were Douglas fir from Surewood Shafts. I didn't mean to shoot rocks, but there was a cat there. The cat lives still, by a whisker.
-
i guess it's only got seven lives left hey ben?? ha ha
my favourite is the 130gr blackstump. i can get nothing else as sharp and i'm yet to damage one.
