At least to me he is.
Pulled one of my cams today and found this fellow. I found the buck I will pursue this season. He will make a fine advisary to say the least.
He is only 10 yards from one of our stands. We have about 5 stands acrossed this ridge. I also got pics of several nice 125 to 135 inch bucks. There was about a 140 class one as well but I got this guy on my mind. Just call me "David".
Hopefully I can say"Goliath,meet Davids(Mikes actually) snuffer"!!!
Me and longbowben have been salivating all afternoon.

Good grief. I don't think there a buck in my whole county that big.
He will be a shooter in a couple years :)
Usually he would be coming from a corn field. But this year the farmer planted soy beans. Ohhhhh they love those soy beans.

you might want to pull the cameras that flash. the bucks will start to avoid the areas where they get flashed
That tree has a deer growing out of it.

I agree!!! I only keep my cams in an area for about a week.(this one was only in for 8 days) I've seen what I needed to see from this area and they got pulled today. No need to put them back. Once I get targeted on a buck I'll pull the cam in that area. I never put a cam in an area I'm actively hunting unless it's IR.

Thanks Curt. I believe the hunt will be exciting by itself. To harvest him would be a bonus.

Did you get any daytime pics of him to give you some extra hope?

thats what I was wondering???
Also you guys that can age deer . . . 3.5 years???

Never do get daytime pics this time of year in this particular area. He has been seen in the bean field in the daytime but most of our bucks we get pics of at night during the summer months. Too hot to travel in daylight. But when the season gets closer they stay in the fields longer. Early season in this area has given me and Ben some really nice bucks. If you read through some of our kills in years past you will notice that several of them are right at daybreak. Good question David.

He could very well be from the same gene pool. After years of management we are finally getting the class bucks like you kill up in those Minn. woods. just not near as many!!!! Good luck on your biggun Pete.
He's a beast. Hope you get your shot at him.
You been sprinkling that guy with Miracle-Gro?? :D
