I started out the day moving furniture for my little sis. As I just finished loading the truck, I heard the neighbor coming up on his four-wheeler. He is a close friend of my family and was doing some cleaning up around his place...he saw my truck and had a few things he thought I might want. Thanks Wes!!!

The bows, left to right, are: Shakespeare marked B-8 Rocket 60" and 45#, Colt 62" and 50#, Indian Archery Seneca 62" 40-45#, Bear Alaskan 66" and 31#, and Ben Pearson 62" and 30#. I may be wrong on some of the measurements, because I am at work and am going by memory. All of the bows are in fair shape, the Bear being the worst...it has a few vertical cracks in the glass and is missing the rest/sight? The Colt? is in good shape but the logo is barely visible.
Now that would make the misery of helping someone move a little more " Bear-able"!
what a great friend.he's a keeper
Thats a great friend of the family. You scored big.
Yep, Wes is a really good guy...the type that would literally give you the shirt off his back...and always shows up to help without you ever asking. The Indian is actually the bow he used to take his first deer. Now, I need to make a few strings.
What a great day!
yes, that is a good day indeed.
Yep, great day!
Every day is a good day but when a bow is given to you it's just iceing on the cake...You got a few extra plates full ...
