Sorry to rehash an old question, but i couldn't find an answer with the search, so here goes. I'm looking for some glue on broadheads in the 160 weight range. I got on 3 rivers and saw Stos, Ace, Magnus, and Simmons in that weight. I'm not totally challenged when it comes to sharpening a 2 blade, but don't need to work TOO hard if I don't have to. Out of the aforementioned broadheads, which has the best factory double bevel grind? Thanks in advance. Bret
ACE or Magnus....I use both... love em....now if your looking for a single bevel.... GRIZZLY all the way...good luck...
My pick would be STOS.Good steel, tough, easy to sharpen and the ferrule is true so they are easy to mount and no alignment problems.
All the heads mentioned above are good heads. As you can tell I'm partial to one. Magnus heads sharpen easily mount easily and have a lifetime warranty. Try a few different ones and see what you like. Just remember shaving sharp.
Magnus
STOS and Magnus have excellent out of the pack grinds that need very little work to get hunting sharp.
Buy the Simmon's and get the ultimate steel sharpener to sharpen them with. You will be happy. LCH
You have a list of all stars - all of those heads are good ones. My 2 cents says go with Stos for rock solid and easy to sharpen.
I shoot Simmons (Interceptors) but they are a little tricky to sharpen with the curved blades. LCH is on the money with the sharpener advice for them.
I would get the STOS and buy them from Bravehearted Archery you will love the service!
STOS 160s with tanto tip here too. Easy to get very sharp and flies like my field tips/
Stos, very easy to get sharp, and they fly like field tips,as stated above.great price for this head.
I say get the Magnus 3-Blade Snuffers 160grn... They are great BH's, easy to sharpen, Life time Warranty and they leave a great blood trail... Just ask Stevie Wonder & Ray Charles...
They are all excellent broadheads. I'm kinda partial to the Ace Express 165. The width is right for me and the straight edge is the easiest for me to sharpen. I do file a tanto point on them, but I do that with all 2 blade heads. The original grind is pretty good. Of those mentioned, the STOS probably has the nicest grind out of the package, they are just a bit too narrow for my tastes, tho.
+1 for Stos

STOS from Braveheart Archery. They will arrive almost before you order them! LOL
Sharpen really fast...and I am terrible at sharpening.
