I don't run custom tags. In fact for years on a very good hunting spot, with trouble around it, I ran truck tags (on a SUV) to better hide my county of origin (not hunting in county of residence).
Idiots hunting next door, anti hunters, poachers or people wanting to get your spot, they'll try to stir up trouble.
The less they know the better.
Going back n forth, parking where easily seen...........a specialty tag might get you some annoying attention.

Do they all have to be letters or can there be numbers?

I would think numbers would be fine. Lets see what you have and then I'll tell you if they are OK. :readit:  :goldtooth:

My Michigan plate says LONGBOW I'm pretty fond of it.

I had TRDBOW for my truck in MO. Got alot of funny looks, my stepdaughter then enlightened me by asking "Why do have a license that says turd bow" LOL I knew what it stood for so it didn't matter to me.

Here's mine, in Michigan you must have 7 numbers or letters. If you can only use 6, TRADBO

How bout ARCHER or a cryptic one like RCHREE. My favorite one I've ever seen was
IJKMNO and the drivers name was Noel.
