Just a bit ago opened up this up from John. A Griffin Carbon 60" 51@28 w/ Autumn leaf 3D camo dip, came from him with it applied. Think he said he has only done maybe six carbon backed bows. First impression is very good. Took it out, and was grouping nice with it shooting CE Heritage 250's with brace at 7 1/8". Bow is very smooth, very very quick, did I say quick, and sneaky quiet. It just may be in the top two longbow grips I have had the pleasure of wrapping the paws around, and John is certainly a treat to do business with. I can see why he is 24 months out on orders.... Enjoy

Don't drop it in the leaves Froggy, you might not find it before season is over.
Congratulations!
God bless,Mudd
Very nice.
Really nice looking... I stayed at the same motel as John at ETAR and was able to see some camo dipped ones... they look really good.
Good luck to ya...
John, makes a fine bow and is one of the best to deal with. Looks to be a hunting machine!!!
Please tell me more about the "Carbon" Griffen....
I didn't know john offered a Carbon option?
I have a couple of his "regular" bows and believe they rank at (or near) the top.
Very nice!!
i am a griffin man now.no doubt the top of the list not near the top...THE TOP...lookin down in my opinion.i have shot just about everything out there but theres something very special built into a griffin. nice bow froggy.the more you shoot it the more you'll love it.
Beautiful bow Lanier! If that one leaves the nest, give me a shot at it! :)
nice bow froggy, do you know if those mossy boys did the camo? i'm ignorant when it commes to a lot of the different bow makers, who makes the griffin? :dunno:
RASTA,
IF...IF you say? You ever seen Lanier or his other bud hold onto a bow long?
:wavey:
He and Ralphy got it BAD! :)
That handle looks like the one on his RACO I bought years back. Bit too stiff for my arthritic bones anymore at 54#, but still draws smooth and thumps.
I think anything John touches ...WORKS!
i know Doc...i know Doc...what was i thinking! :D
Ain't as bad as Harris, I will keep one till the next day.... :campfire:
Lanier don't show em all your cards, nice and keep us posted on how it shoots. You might get used to that 60 inch bow.

You two are a hoot! Tryin all by yerselves to keep the USPS afloat financially!
I owned that bow for one day :) Doc
Yeah Doc but now you are on the ILF train so there are more for Lanier to go after.
Try increasing the brace height 7 3/16" - 7 5/16".
I tested the bow during the summer and found the best brace height for the bow to be - 7 5/16".
I have the test data from ( 6 ) of John`s Carbon Griffins if you would like it. Best of luck.
Hey Doc,
Glad you couldn't handle the weight, I may just be sinking my claws into it !!. Me like Griffin :archer2: :)
