Title: Spliced feathers made by a fellow Tradganger
Post by: Margly on August 19, 2010, 03:47:00 AM
Hi!
For a couple of weeks ago I wrote a topic about where I could find spliced feathers.
My fellow Tradganger Dustin Waters pm`d me and wrote that he could help me   :)

And wow what a man to do business with
He has done follow ups under the whole process making the feathers with photos and has also followed the time schedule he told me before he started the work.

He really know how to make spliced feathers, and they are awesome.

Here is some pics of Dustins work.

To say I`m satisfied is an understatement

I`ve used the little chopper from 3Rivers and is highly satisfied with this product.

Thanks

To my Black Douglas 65# I`ve choosed 5" feathers to my Easton FMJ 340 full length attached to some Centaur Battle Axes. White and blue barred feathers.

I`ll post more pics as soon as photobucket is ready  :)

Thanks for your time.

Thanks for your time.
I`m at my office right now but will check as soon as I get back home.

But if you take contact with Dustin Waters here at TG he will give you all the info you need + some good suggestion about feather combos.

The cost on the feathers is .75 cents per splice that needs done.  Those feathers there were about 2.15 per feather + shipping.  I charge you exactly what I am charged for the parts plus the .75 cents for labor per splice per feather.
These are membrane spliced feathers not butt spliced.

Thanks for the great write up Margly.
Happy Hunting.

Nice work, Dustin.  Keep doing a good job and you'll  be able to sell aplenty.
