Title: Flemish or Endless Loop??
Post by: WPAtrapper on August 16, 2010, 11:55:00 AM
I have an older Pearson recurve that I've been shooting alot lately. I'd like to order a new string for it and a spare. Should I get an endless loop string or flemish twist? It has an endless loop on it now. What are the advantages of the flemish? Also, can anyone recommend one of the sponsors from on here that makes a good string?

Chad AKA LBR...

Which string is better?/ it's more which string do you like to look at.. It's more up to looks then which is better, They both are good strings.

Is that the same Chad from Champion Strings? I was thinking about ordering from them. I do like the looks of the flemish better. Thanks for the help.

Either one will work, for me I like an endless loop dacron for my older recurves. But do make a flemish on them too.I feel with dacron I get less stretch with an endless loop, but probably doesn't make a big difference.Just a personal preference for me.

I just like the looks of flemish twist strings.  You can play a little and make them as purdy as the bow they are on.

the endless being a little stiffer will get rid of your arrow a little faster. But I think that is the only advantage. Jim Pyles

Ok, I think I'll go with the flemish.
